Illusionary Game

Last Sunday, I thought of a change in an environment. After two unproductive days at work, I decided to give myself a new challenge. What was that? That was going out and seeing people. When did it become a challenge just to see people? I don’t know. 😀
That day, my sisters and I dashed off to the Sorya Shopping mall minutes after arriving home. I saw nothing but same old things at the place, so went up to the top floor only to find this spooky thing called “Ghost House” which I’m sure has recently been a craze in Asia. In Germany, there is also such an “entertainment” place. It might not just be a thing for Asians, I thought. However, it turned out that Asians were the biggest fans of all these ghostly things. Honestly, it’s for everyone who wants to experience hallucination or shock. When I spotted all these disgusting paintings of ghosts, I just switched my direction from right to the left. There, I found this game station where a small crowd was glancing at its screen. Four girls were being rocked ceaselessly in a roller-coaster car in a SMALL ROOM . Not funny. What were they seeing, I was wondering. Fazed by the mystery, I had my sister pay $3 for my curiosity. 😉

What did you see?

Rule: this illusionary game is being new at the place, according to my older sister. If you want to play it, first pay the money and get the ticket. Before you enter the room, you can choose one among 11 themes available at the moment. How can you play it? Get the ticket, and choose a theme. Theme? You will be given a pair of “4D” glass. Any theme selected will appear in your glasses you wear when you’re sitting down in the room. I didn’t opt for the spooky/ghostly theme, anyway, so I did save myself a lot of heart attack. I never wanted to waste any single dime/dollar, but I did it just to fulfil my curiosity only. 😛 And since it’s paid for, why not? I chose a theme that made me feel like I was on a car/train toward bumpy roads and broke bridges. What an adventure! I entered the room, sat down and laid my hands on the handle on the car while adjusting the 4D glasses I was putting on. The mission was turned on, and the door was shut. The car that looked like a toy car (haha) I sat on got rocked, and what I saw in my glasses was all 3D bridges breaking into pieces, 3D rock, 3D feelings! Yeah, what you see is what you get. How disappointing. If you’ve ever seen a 3D film, you will understand what I mean. It’s just not a real but illusionary thing that cheated you into believing that your money was worth for it.
I heard a happy scream :D. Maybe they chose the ghost theme I don’t recommend to anyone who doesn’t want to feel like a loser like me. 😛 I didn’t scream but sorta cheated when I opened and closed the eyes time and again. I was obviously bored while my old sister, on the little journey with me, screaming continuously. If she were on a real one, she’d have more fun, I reassured here too.
So, after all, this kind of game has earned some profit so far, and well, if you choose the right theme, you’ll be having fun, not like me. Yet, taking a looking at our life, how you see the world is just like how you look through that pair of 4D glasses. If you have a positive outlook on life and try to enjoy every moment no matter what, you will have considerable fun. If you don’t, you tend to have insurmountable ceaseless nuances of the moment you’re at. According to the Hindu advaita philosophy, “illusion” isn’t true or false. How you see the world is an illusion…make it a good illusion while you can. Reality? It’s an absolute truth I have no idea about. 😀
