As a native Cambodian who was born and raised in Cambodia, I have conflicting emotions regarding the transition of power. I have long desired to witness a change in the government. I must acknowledge that during my nearly five years of working with government partners for my clients, I have observed significant reforms in certain ministries. The year 2023 marked the national elections, and despite the political shortcomings that preceded the primary elections in July, having a leader who genuinely prioritizes the well-being of future generations in Cambodia would truly be a blessing for the country that deserves all the world has to offer.
